Today, it's CSC Day V! Everyone Wore Red and it's party time for all beneficiaries and volunteers to gather together @ NUS Central Forum! Well! haha i was late as usual as i got a terrible time trying to get enough sleep throughout the week.
Represent the group leader for group 6 (Sang Nila) and i was late! haha! i was late for Grant A Wish Party too! Guess my lateness gonna blew my opportunities in life or maybe in love! But i'm gonna seriously work on it! Jiayou! =)...
Started well and i realized that within my group, there's a lot of new faces volunteering for the first time. Something good, because it's always good to see more people involved, this clearly shows that people are aware of the our club and the volunteering spirit that we are trying to promote.
Today, my post will not be CSC Day V, but it's about a noble goal of mine during my period as a volunteer to the crowd. I got this dream, a goal which i think i'm unable to achieve on my own but i'm trying my best to influence every single one around me so that this thought will be driven and spread like a virus globally.
First, let us sit down and recap how do we make people actually become a volunteer and starts to help others around him/her? For me, i think the most critical point that we can actually turn someone ordinary into an extra ordinary volunteer will be helping him/her when he/she needed help the most! I think most volunteers started off with, Why not give it a try? or Clearing CIP? or even wanna get to know more people as the reason to volunteer. There's alot of reasons behind why a person willing to volunteer, but such reasons does not cultivate that kind of volunteering spirit that i'm looking at.
My noble goal will be to influence beneficiaries themselves as volunteers where we volunteers will benchmark as role models to keep the spirit alive. Helping each other is an basic instinct for most human beings but somehow or rather as we grow older, our lives gets busier and we tend to neglect all of them. This chain of influence can be applied to almost any age group where kids can be nurtured with love and be a volunteer themselves helping their peers and teachers whenever there's a need. The elderly can be more than an adviser for the kids and youths, by telling them stories that might not even happen in their lifetime. A 20 min chat with an uncle from St. Vin, gave me a new insight on his life and how my life is when he was in my age.
Anyone who's reading this right now, just close your eyes and reflect abit, anyone in your life who struck and changed you to who you are today? do you really miss him/her and thank him/her for what he/she did to you ?
Such influential guy/girl will be the perfect person or the catalyst to drive my goal across. Remember, Whenever you reach out to help someone! remember to help him in such a way that in future he will remember your actions and he/she will starts to help others too!...sounds ez on a digital screen but i'm sure, slowly but surely, bit by bit! We can change the attitude of our youths and everyone around us to share & keep this volunteering spirit alive.
An idea just struck me today and i was thinking, how come we cannot merge an orphan home together with the elderly home where activities can be organize to share and keep each other in company? Does not have to be a everyday session but i think it's emotionally balance for both the kid and the elderly to gain something from each side of their own lives.
* if i can live eternally, i will save up enough $ to make this all a reality!! since i will age, haha i better stop dreaminggg and log out of my blog right now~! HAHA!

Hey! 2009~ haha! Welcomeeeee Everyone to my new layout! haha! i think it's more fresh! and more "ME" compared to the old lollipop site! haha! how so? haha yeah! messyyy around the desktop, late nite tea in front of the computer! haha sounds just like me =)...2009! Grim! i am quite happy about my life so far! haha and i am looking forward to work even harder and better!!
Hmm, 2008, is a year where i made alot alot of friends and i made many mistakes as well in life to be worth reviewing! but i'm sure such mistakes will be well taken care of in 2009! It's still the same old jason! learning from everybody and spread the spirit of fun to the rest!
2009! i hope all the children and youths who met Jason Kor Kor to succeed and grow up happily. All the Best for health and enjoyyy your childhood while u all still can! =)
2009! i hope all my friends are happier and more forgiving towards life so that life can once again be beautiful again! =) HA! more forgiving towards me when i reject outings alright? =/ 24 hours is not enough for me =)
2009! i hope mr cupid and miss cupid stop having fun together and start working!! so that all my single friends will be happy and i hope to see more couple pictures from facebook! haha nevertheless! can mr cupid please when u shoot me with such an arrow on 2008! haha remind miss cupid to shoot hers as well? haha =/
2009! i hope all the adults will pull thru this hard year and i pray for more family harmonious relationship for everyone. It's very sickening to be fighting with someone you love about money! =) Life is so short that sometimes i wanna be a vampire who will sparkle like a diamond under the sunlight. LOL =/ i think i can start off by pouring some glitter glue at noon 12 later! haha OMG!!
2009! i hope my parents/grandmas/aunties/uncles will be in good health and bless with the fortune of life! I will love them more than 2008 =)
2009! i hope my life will have a 2009 degree change this year and thanks everyone for your clicks on 2008 =)!

WhooHoo! Exams all over! haha! Grim!! Been action pack non-stop till today haha finally a day for me to rest and recuperate.
Dec 4th @ 1500 hours! "Everyone please pull down your pants" ops! i meant everyone please put down your pens haa marks my freedom manz! so happy that i cant even bother to compare if my answers were similar to others! we all had a common goal at the end of each semester! and that's KTV! haha...
Went to Topone Ktv bugis and there we sang like the mic were ours! haha hell fun to make fun of different mtvs and i witness some dancing talents and Mo fan talents from my grp of frens! haha overall fun! but i was too tired to give it a 9/10 day! overall 8.5/10 ba! cos i only slpt 3 hours that day! so shag and the moment i got home! Opens wide open and Bom!~ i slpt with my contact lens on till the next morning! hahahaa shit! not to mention that i was tooo tired to bathe too LOL =/...but i changed my bedsheet the nxt day ^^)
The nxt day! i woke up @ 7 plus am and instead of brushing my teeth and bathe! haha i immediately went to dig my soccer boots and preparing for my soccer session...okie! in the end i bathe alright! haha i guess out of 10 guys! 8 wont bathe before a soccer session ba! i'm just the 2/10 cos i forgot to bathe the nite before! LOL =)....seriously it's fun to be dirty sometimes LOL, i always like the beggar ruggard look, looks so cool, like some Gai Bang member! maybe someday i will master DA GOU PANG lolz...woof~
Soccer was fun till when i bumped into sw, hmm got no idea why will he stood there without moving and instead of crashing into him, i did an emergency brake on my right leg, gosh i think i pulled my right calf muscle! -_-! it's still painful now...sianz but well it's gonna recover soon!!
Went Ikea for lunch and wow! yummy food again! almost lick the plate off clean cos i was so hungry after soccer~ shopping ~ and pool session @ nite~ hoohoo it's been awhile since i touch a cue le! shoik...but din manage to play enuff when the clock strikes 12 ~ supper and homeeeeee oh ya! i need a miracle ! a real one! not for myself but it's for wilson~ after his brain tumor removal last week, he had a brain scan and there are traces of other tumors around the brain! OMG! i'm very sadded =(! and shit i cant do anything to make him feel any better! but to pray for him? the tumor is affecting is vision and i heard there's some ulcer in the stomach too! God! he's really a good manz and please help him out alright! donate the tumors to those irritating cockroaches or pests and give him break! please! if anyone got a good way to heal his soul! pls tag my board~...greatly appreciated~ meanwhile god bless manz~
SATURDAY! wow! it's a very funny and weird day! met up with Aero class mates for lunch @ manhanttan gosh! let me show u the seafood platter for 2!~ haha...whaz! it's nicer than the fish and Co de~ SO NICE!!!!!! that i lick the steel wok clean too! LOL...instead of finger licking good...i shall start the trend of plate licking good! yums~ WARNING! please draw some $ out and try it!! pls don't lick on your monitor hahahaa it's not gonna work alright! =) the super duper cream sause on the prawn is devastating to my taste bud! Drool like a kid *~ heee
Next stop! haha Ben & Jerry ice-cream festival @ fort canning! haha! i'm not really a fan of 7-20 bucks ice-cream but well~ went there to support my buddy for his Vermonster ice-cream eating competition! haha he sux man! lost badly to 4 monster eaters who played cheat by pouring water into their ice-cream and drank them! YUCKS!...drinking 20-30 scoops of ice-cream with 4 guys! just imagine! haha the sight of it make me sick =p...let the pics do the talking...
Next! sat december 6th 2008, i had a shock of my life! why? after the festival, we head back to PS for some shopping and as we about to leave for wisma, just outside PS, there's this group of girls laughing out loud and my frens started to tease among each other how they wish they got a hug too!....i was too busy sms-ing my fren becos i'm gonna be late and the moment i checked with my frens what happened, wow! 3-4 girls ran towards us and one girl grabbed my arm. she said : " hey today's my birthday! can you give me a hug?" i was like err...huh? she had a sign board across her neck and before i can even finish reading the sign and say no!...she put her arms around me and hug me, gosh man! stunned to the max! first thing that came across my mind! shit! am i in catcha or some TV prank? next! err...i duno! i'm just stunned and i just stood there blushing?...i duno...super weird to be hug by some stranger...or super weird to be hug by a girl? there's 1 or 2 cams ard and yup~ instead of hit and run! she hug and run! =_=...after a few shots taken then all of them ran away! i am still having the "HUH what exactly happened look" and my frens all came teasing me...i must admit those girls are daring manz and maybe i'm just boring! one hell of an unforgettable "lucky" experience~ happy birthday! to whoever you are =)...just hope my picture wont end up in forums or magazines...
Rushed down to CCK and met my frens for a temple dinner! haha hard to explain! it's like those auction dinner next to temple and at first i was having this mentality that's it's gonna be vegitarian! haha to my amazement! it's not! haha it's funny cos we are one of the youngest there!... As my fren's parents are away from sg, we represent his dad and help to offer our thanks to the temple~ As a free thinker, i'm not good at such things! haha we asked the aunties how to pray and do the right thing? then we followed the crowd, opening up packets of leaves and sweets for the gods. Went inside the temple and tried to offer all my incense sticks to every god i came across! i missed out some but well! haha alot mistakes while doing our prayer =)...
Here's the funny part! haha dinner started and so does the auction! haha! they auctions thinks like packets of rice, banners and those HUAT KUEY...haha 10KG of rice worth 500-700 dollars haha...and they call it the Huat Zai Bee (hokkien)...haha or HDB haha Huat Dua Bee! Prosperity rice? haha and those red banners right! gosh! ppl screaming their lives to bid for it at 7000-8000! haha it seems like sg is not having a recession afterall! haha so funny becos the auction was conducted in hokkien, i just cant help it but kept luffing! haa the guy kept saying buy liao sat, sun 4d and monday toto sure strike! haha but we all were like wahz! auction until item 50+ liao still saying the same thing! gosh! haha how can everyone strike! =p.... Went Queenstown to watch soccer and play a few rounds of numberball before heading to changi airport to see yx off to japan!! envyyy!! japan trip for a month with his gf! arhhh i'm jealous! not becos of the gf! but it's going on a holiday with someone u love! gosh! so nice man!....but the drawback! haha negative 5000 on yr bank account hoho! =)...went gelyang for supper!! and it's like 5am in the morning le! SUPER long day and so sorry that i got to aeroplane another grps of frens who had soccer session planned earlier! i really din meant to overslp...i'm tired! sorry!...
Strangely, i'm missing her presence already despite that i did see her on thursday, no msn no reply no contact, doubt she will pick up my call too... Super duper failure...guess's she happier this way ba! i made alot of mistakes and i deserved it totally...acting on impulse can kill but i kinda cherish how we met with no regrets! at least for sure i know what makes this feeling different.
If there's one wish that can be granted for me this christmas, i really do wish everyone to keep their hopes and miracles alive! the candle dim might be burning faintly but it's still burning to provide us some heat! cheers to all our dreams and wilson! i really do hope you can pull thru this hard obstacle~ i really do! Jiayou...

Next! sat december 6th 2008, i had a shock of my life! why? after the festival, we head back to PS for some shopping and as we about to leave for wisma, just outside PS, there's this group of girls laughing out loud and my frens started to tease among each other how they wish they got a hug too!....i was too busy sms-ing my fren becos i'm gonna be late and the moment i checked with my frens what happened, wow! 3-4 girls ran towards us and one girl grabbed my arm. she said : " hey today's my birthday! can you give me a hug?" i was like err...huh? she had a sign board across her neck and before i can even finish reading the sign and say no!...she put her arms around me and hug me, gosh man! stunned to the max! first thing that came across my mind! shit! am i in catcha or some TV prank? next! err...i duno! i'm just stunned and i just stood there blushing?...i duno...super weird to be hug by some stranger...or super weird to be hug by a girl? there's 1 or 2 cams ard and yup~ instead of hit and run! she hug and run! =_=...after a few shots taken then all of them ran away! i am still having the "HUH what exactly happened look" and my frens all came teasing me...i must admit those girls are daring manz and maybe i'm just boring! one hell of an unforgettable "lucky" experience~ happy birthday! to whoever you are =)...just hope my picture wont end up in forums or magazines...
Rushed down to CCK and met my frens for a temple dinner! haha hard to explain! it's like those auction dinner next to temple and at first i was having this mentality that's it's gonna be vegitarian! haha to my amazement! it's not! haha it's funny cos we are one of the youngest there!... As my fren's parents are away from sg, we represent his dad and help to offer our thanks to the temple~ As a free thinker, i'm not good at such things! haha we asked the aunties how to pray and do the right thing? then we followed the crowd, opening up packets of leaves and sweets for the gods. Went inside the temple and tried to offer all my incense sticks to every god i came across! i missed out some but well! haha alot mistakes while doing our prayer =)...
Here's the funny part! haha dinner started and so does the auction! haha! they auctions thinks like packets of rice, banners and those HUAT KUEY...haha 10KG of rice worth 500-700 dollars haha...and they call it the Huat Zai Bee (hokkien)...haha or HDB haha Huat Dua Bee! Prosperity rice? haha and those red banners right! gosh! ppl screaming their lives to bid for it at 7000-8000! haha it seems like sg is not having a recession afterall! haha so funny becos the auction was conducted in hokkien, i just cant help it but kept luffing! haa the guy kept saying buy liao sat, sun 4d and monday toto sure strike! haha but we all were like wahz! auction until item 50+ liao still saying the same thing! gosh! haha how can everyone strike! =p.... Went Queenstown to watch soccer and play a few rounds of numberball before heading to changi airport to see yx off to japan!! envyyy!! japan trip for a month with his gf! arhhh i'm jealous! not becos of the gf! but it's going on a holiday with someone u love! gosh! so nice man!....but the drawback! haha negative 5000 on yr bank account hoho! =)...went gelyang for supper!! and it's like 5am in the morning le! SUPER long day and so sorry that i got to aeroplane another grps of frens who had soccer session planned earlier! i really din meant to overslp...i'm tired! sorry!...
Strangely, i'm missing her presence already despite that i did see her on thursday, no msn no reply no contact, doubt she will pick up my call too... Super duper failure...guess's she happier this way ba! i made alot of mistakes and i deserved it totally...acting on impulse can kill but i kinda cherish how we met with no regrets! at least for sure i know what makes this feeling different.
If there's one wish that can be granted for me this christmas, i really do wish everyone to keep their hopes and miracles alive! the candle dim might be burning faintly but it's still burning to provide us some heat! cheers to all our dreams and wilson! i really do hope you can pull thru this hard obstacle~ i really do! Jiayou...
